Hi, I’m Danielle.

 

I’m a wife, mother of two incredible daughters, storyteller, and lifelong advocate for women. For over 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside families through some of life’s most transformative moments, from pregnancy and birth to postpartum, motherhood, and the many seasons of becoming that follow.

 

My journey began in the birth world, where I worked as a birth doula, photographer, videographer, educator, and advocate. In 2018, I founded The Birthkeeper LLC, a business rooted in protecting, honoring, and documenting the physiological experience of birth while helping women feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout their journeys.

 

Over the years, I witnessed something profound: birth was never the only story.

 

The women I worked with were constantly evolving. They were building businesses, navigating identity shifts, healing old wounds, raising families, pursuing dreams, rediscovering themselves, and stepping into new chapters of life. Birth was simply one expression of a much larger transformation.

 

That realization led to the evolution of my work and the creation of Her Origin in 2026.

 

Her Origin represents the beginning of every chapter a woman chooses for herself. It is a space dedicated to documenting growth, transformation, motherhood, entrepreneurship, creativity, healing, and the stories that shape who we become. Whether you’re welcoming a baby, launching a business, celebrating your family, or simply honoring the woman you are today, your story deserves to be remembered.

 

My approach is deeply rooted in connection. I believe the most meaningful images happen when people feel safe enough to be fully themselves. Rather than focusing on perfect poses, I focus on preserving emotion, movement, relationships, and the moments that often go unnoticed but become the most treasured memories years later.

 

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me spending time with my husband and our two daughters, recording podcast episodes, supporting women in my community, or finding inspiration in nature, motherhood, and the beautiful complexity of being human.
